Club Risqué Presents the Masque of Eros

Club Risqué’s Mission Statement:
To stamp out erotophobia in Humboldt County by promoting sex positive awareness through communication and education. We seek to provide a positive, sensual and safe atmosphere to explore sexuality.

We’re back!!!
Club Risqué is proud to present The Masque of Eros (the Event). We are overjoyed to be back in the swing of things and able to bring Humboldt County another event. It has been a little over a year and we have benefited greatly from the much-needed break. But now we’re back. So bust out your favorite sexy Halloween costume and join us in celebration of our favorite holiday! Please read the enclosed documents and bring your signed waiver with you, along with your ticket and ID showing that you are 21 years old or older.
What: The Masque of Eros, Pansexual Play Party and Halloween Ball
When: Saturday, Oct. 20, 200 7 9pm until the break of dawn
Where: The event will be in the Arcata area. The exact location will be available to ticket holders on the day of the event.
21 and over with ID only
We are intent on creating a safe sensuous space in which the wide, wild variety of sexual expression can be explored. This Event will cater to the full spectrum of sexual beings. If sexy parties are new to you, you may just want to socialize and not play. The level of involvement is up to you.
If you will be attending this Event as a couple, triad or other committed group there might be a few things you should talk about and work out before the Event to ensure your total enjoyment. Will you be attending as monogamous (or whatever the poly equivalent is) voyeurs or exhibitionists? Is kissing others O.K.? Above the waist? Oral sex with barriers? These rules will vary from couple to couple, and from time to time – find the balance that is right for you during this Event. Good communication is the key. Talking about possible scenarios before the Event is both practical and a turn on.
The staff has been trained to cope with a wide variety of situations; they are available to assist you. The say of the staff is absolutely final in the Event. All play must be Safe, Sane, and Consensual by Club Risqué standards.
We recommend that you practice a high level of public health, safety and welfare. There will be safer sex supplies provided and their use is highly recommended. Please do not engage in any activity until you understand fully the choices you are making. You must maintain a level of sobriety that allows you to make informed decisions and to respect the boundaries of others. We will not tolerate overt intoxication or rude behavior.
-A Note on Chilling Out-
If you find things are getting a little too intense, but you don’t want to leave just yet, you can go to the Blue Room. This space will be a comfortable, safe, non- sexual environment in which you can catch your breath, relax, and revive yourself before going back into the fray.
This Event marks Club Risqué’s seventh birthday! It is hard to believe it has been that long. We are humbled by the continued support that the events have received from the community over the years and thank all of you who attended, volunteered, donated and generally supported this endeavor. Thank you all for your courage, respect and loving energy. This entire community has become part one of the grand and oddest love stories ever written. We can’t wait to see you!
